The Champagne Jeeper brand has existed since 1949. Today, its exceptional champagnes are sold in France and around the world. The company is based in Faverolles et Coëmy, near Reims, and now has offices in Japan and the United States. For its production, Maison Jeeper has 50 hectares of plots in exceptional terroirs such as Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne. The land is spread throughout the Champagne region, in villages with renowned terroirs such as Cramant, Oger, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Ville-Dommange and Savigny sur Ardres. Find out more

The history of Champagne Jeeper



The history of the house Jeeper really begins in 1949 when Arnaud Goutorbe decides to produce and market his own champagne. He came from a family of winegrowers who had been making wines since the 18th century, and inasmuch as many winegrowers in the region also bore the Goutorbe name, he named his brand Champagne Jeeper.

He chose this name in reference to the Willys jeep with which he roamed the vineyards. Indeed, prisoner and wounded during the second world war, he keeps a handicap which makes his movements difficult. This vehicle, offered by the American army as a reward for his courage, will allow him to develop his domain.

Excellence and environmental commitment



Champagne Jeeper began its transition to integrated viticulture several years ago, abandoning conventional phytosanitary products in favor of natural methods and working the soil with draft horses. Since 2016, the estate has obtained the "Viticulture Durable en Champagne" and HQE- HVE (high environmental value) certifications. It is now aiming to achieve a neutral carbon footprint by 2025.

The cuvées are elaborated by giving priority to quality with a very particular attention during the assembly. The wine is aged in barrels and vats for one to two years. The bottles used are exclusive, with unique shapes for a perfect conservation of the wines. Everything is thought out to obtain elegant champagnes of the highest quality.

Vineyards from 37 Champagne villages are blended into this unique cuvée, resulting in an authentic and generous champagne with exotic fruit aromas and a creamy texture.

The Cuvée blanc de blancs grande réserve brut


Discover this balanced champagne with citrus aromas with a touch of honey, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes.

The Cuvée Naturelle extra brut


This original champagne is pure, both fine and powerful, with lightly stewed fruity notes and precise blending.

The Cuvée Premier cru, brut


It is elaborated with grapes of villages 1ers crus and a wine making in half Muids. This subtle and powerful champagne with aromas of lemon caviar and white-fleshed fruits has received several awards, including the gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.

The Grand Cru Cuvée, brut


This unique high-end champagne with a brilliant golden color is fruity with aromas of candied citrus and lemon. The oak barrel aging gives it notes of fresh brioche and roasted hazelnuts.
