The winemaker
The Chaput family's history with champagne dates back 8 generations. Each of these generations has seen the birth of an enthusiast who has nurtured and extended the family's passion for Champagne bubbles. Jacques Chaput is one of them. In the 1950s, he helped to re-establish the vineyards where the Benedictine monks used to grow them. The champagne house stretches over 14 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines. The vines are cultivated in the Champagne tradition, using only the finest grapes. With excellence as its watchword, Jacques Chaput combines know-how and terroir to produce the very best of Champagne.
