The winemaker

This is the story of a winegrower named Edmond. From an early age, he worked in the vines with his parents in the family vineyard, which has been passed down for three generations. After obtaining his vocational certificate in viticulture at the age of 17, he joined the family business, first as a salaried employee and then as the operator. Sylviane, his wife, is not from the area, "I've never seen a vine"... She arrived in Trélou sur Marne in 1985, and was soon caught up in the various tasks in the vineyard and the birth of their two daughters. But their dearest wish was to make their own wines. The adventure of Champagne Couvent-Lémery began in 1992.
