The winemaker
The Farfelan family has been making Champagne since 1974, when Claude and Anne-Marie Farlelan founded the estate. Their son Laurent now heads the 7-hectare estate. The Claude Farfelan vineyard is one of the only ones to work its plots with a caterpillar, offering precise work in the heart of the vineyard. The vineyard is located in the commune of Argançon, a small village in the Landion valley on the Côte des Bars, renowned for the quality of its Pinot Noirs. Laurent and his wife Marianne produce champagnes using integrated farming methods.
