The winemaker
The vineyards of Champagne Beurton, certified "Haute Valeur Environnementale" and "Viticulture Durable en Champagne", comprise around a hundred plots. The majority of the vineyard is planted with Meunier, a vigorous, hardy grape variety. The soils in the Marne Valley are clay-limestone with a tendency to marl. The winemakers want the terroir and soil typicity to express themselves in their wines. Champagne Beurton's vineyards are subject to integrated viticulture.
