In a few words ...
Brought into the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune in 1994 after the death of Françoise Poisard, these vines, located in Chaintré in the south of the appellation, range in age from 35 to 90 years and are spread over 3 parcels: Les Plessys, producing round, powerful wines, and Les Robées and Les Chevrières, presenting fruity, mineral wines. Pouilly-Fuissé "Cuvée Françoise Poisard" 2003, harvested at the end of August by the winegrowers of the Hospices de Beaune, is vinified in new oak barrels for 11 months before being bottled in early summer 2004 to preserve the fruitiness and freshness of this ripe-fruit cru.
