Assembly : 100% chardonnay vinification : direct pressing, light settling in stainless steel tanks, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels (new to 4 years old). Aged for one year in barrel, then 3 months in stainless steel tanks. Racking, then light filtration on kieselguhr before bottling. No fining. TASTING : very beautiful pale gold color for this mâcon la roche vineuse 2012. The nose is fine, mineral and very fruity, with exotic notes. On the palate, the minerality of the Roche-Vineuse terroir is well expressed, with no lack of body. Nice balance. A refreshing wine to drink young.
