In a few words ...

Deep ruby red. Intense, round, full-bodied berry aromas. The wonderfully balanced structure combines with harmony and finesse. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand to ensure optimum quality. After harvesting, maceration lasts 4 to 8 days at 8°c. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation at 28°c. Finally, the wine ages in 228-liter French oak barrels, the 'pičce bourguignone', before being bottled and released for sale. The story of georges désiré shows how, through hard work, commitment and honesty, one can become the owner of a wine estate, even in the 19th century. Starting out as a simple employee, georges désiré suffered from the cruel treatment of the master of the estate he had to work for at the time. It was not uncommon for him to spend his nights at the inn playing cards and drinking. One day, the owner fell victim to his lifestyle habits and lost his life on the way home, in a ditch, following a drunken evening. Thanks to his business, georges désiré gradually bought out the owner's wife and was able to open his own fine wine trading house in meursault in 1816. In the meantime, the company's headquarters have been transferred to nuits-saint-georges and today stand for wines vinified in a modern way, but faithful to Burgundian traditions, which are sold with great success all over the world.
