The winemaker

Dufouleur Père et Fils: terroir and know-how


The domaine's expertise and reputation date back to 1848. It's in the commune of Nuits-St-Georges, in a cellar that is itself fitted out in 17ᵉ century cellars, that all the oenologists' know-how is exercised. The terroir is also made up of quality grape varieties that are nurtured by experienced winemakers.

Among the estate's best bottles, the 2002 Dufouleur Père et Fils reveals itself as a flowery bouquet, so pleasing is its spring aromas and supple structure. As for the "Grèves 1998", it offers a magnificent Pinot color and a structure that's already there. It's a wine made for laying down, and will age very well in the depths of your cellar.
