The winemaker

Pierre Yves Colin, member of the family estate colin marc and son in Saint Aubin from 1995 to 2005, decided to create a small independent grape purchasing structure in 2001 with his wife Caroline Morey. Thus are born the house wines Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey with the 2001 vintage for a total of about 1700 bottles. Years pass and Pierre Yves decided to take its independence in October 2005. Some of the family vineyard vines are then assigned and therefore creates the field Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey with exploitation of 6 hectares. The first vintage was 2006. The wines of the new domain then are added to the range of wines from grape purchases. Today the house produces about 70,000 bottles from the field and 2/3 to 1/3 of grapes purchases. Our philosophy is to meet up our soils and terroirs, so the soil is worked, no chemical weed control, pest management regarding the protection of the vineyard. The wines are aged in barrels of 350 liters between 1 year and 18 months without intervention during this breeding.
