The winemaker

It is near the village of Corgoloin Cote d'Or Philip Shoemaker established its field and vineyards. With his experience in various Burgundian winemakers, it's in 2009 that he decided to produce his own wines while respecting the best local produce. The vine is cultivated in effect in farming. 2015 is the first vintage and offers a way to taste the wines of Burgundy respectful of the land and the environment. Philip Shoemaker indeed working in viticulture, and uses no chemicals to treat her vineyards. The soil is aerated by plowing and harvest is manual, to only harvest the grapes at the right maturity. Philip Shoemaker owns 2.5 hectares of vineyards spread over no less than 6 titles. Each name is vinified separately and there is no assembly in its wines, in order to better represent the diversity of its soils. Philip Shoemaker offers local vintages, where the special soil and climate makes sense. Its wines are straight, thin and delicate whole, where this fruit is not flashy and where freshness and complexity domain.
