The winemaker
In 2019, Benjamin Tissier took over the management of Domaine des Crais. Following in the footsteps of the family tradition, he is the fourth winegrower in the lineage to perpetuate the tradition. With his wife Andréa, who is just as sensitive to ecology as he is, he is taking over with practices that respect these principles: the grassing of his plots of land, the resumption of ploughing... This allows them to preserve the qualities of their land, right up to the harvest, which is done by hand.
Located in the south of Burgundy, this 5.5 hectare estate produces wines in the Mâcon-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Beaujolais-Villages and Crus du Beaujolais appellations. More specifically, we find Morgon, Juliénas, and Chiroubles.
For wine tourists, the estate welcomes visitors on site, whether for sale or tasting, and with a guest room.
