The winemaker

The history of the David Duband estate

The story of Domaine David Duband began in 1965. The estate's owner at the time was Pierre Duband. It wasn't until 1991 that David Duband, winemaker, took over. Over the years, the estate has grown with the acquisition of several parcels and the creation of new appellations. In 2012, the estate expanded once again, with the construction of a reception hall, a storage room, a new office and a tasting room. It's thanks to all these investments, and to the high quality of the wines, that Domaine David Duband enjoys such a reputation.

Characteristics of Domaine David Duband's terroir and vineyards

David Duband is a winemaker, but above all he's passionate about nature and the great wines of Burgundy. That's why he decided to invest in this vineyard to produce top-quality wines. The vines of Domaine David Duband are mainly composed of Pinot Noir, which lends power and enchanting aromas to each wine produced. Moreover, to be able to discover the delicious wines of the estate, since 2014, tasting sessions are regularly organized.

The wines of Domaine David Duband

A wide range of cuvées are produced at Domaine David Duband. The estate's wines are served at 16 of France's 25 triple Michelin-starred gourmet restaurants! Most of France's top Michelin-starred restaurants serve Domaine David Duband wines at their tables, because these are wines of rare quality. Among the most popular cuvées are "Clos de la Roche", "Chambolle-Musigny", "Côtes de Nuits Villages" and "Bourgogne Hautes-Cotes de Nuits Blanc". Harvesting is done by hand, and every effort is made to preserve all the flavors of the grapes. In addition, most of the vinification is carried out using whole bunches of grapes, which accentuates the finesse of the wines.
