The winemaker

A landmark in Burgundy's history, Moulin aux Moines lies in the heart of the Côte de Beaune vineyards, in the commune of Auxey-Duresses. Inherited from monks dating back to the 10th century, the estate has returned to its ancestral values. Thanks to organic farming and biodynamic principles, a viticultural doctrine as old as the hills, biodiversity has gradually returned. Organic activity in the soil and photosynthesis in the vines are now encouraged. The old vines have regained their vigor to produce terroir wines, pure Burgundy juices produced with respect for tradition and without artifice.
