The winemaker
The Château Gris estate: Burgundy wines
On the plots at the foot of the château, Pinot Noir is planted. On the upper part of the estate, Chardonnay is grown. The clay-limestone soil combined with east-facing, high-altitude vines provide all the conditions required to produce elegant, fine wines.
The wines of the Château Gris estate
Since the 2018 vintage, all Domaine de Château Gris wines are certified "Vin Biologique". The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru, a red wine, develops black fruit aromas with floral notes. This wine is best appreciated after a few years' ageing. Nuits-Saint-Georges "Les Terrasses", a white wine, offers floral aromas that ensure a nice tension at the moment of tasting.
