Located in central Burgundy, in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, the Chassagne Montrachet appellation is one of the jewels of Burgundy's winegrowing heritage. The slopes face east and southeast, and the soils are composed of clay and marl over hard Jurassic limestone, giving the wine a fine minerality.
