In a few words ...

A nervous, dry wine, typical of the Chablis region. Site: a blend of different parcels of Domaine Joseph Drouhin Premiers Crus (Roncières, Mont de Milieu, Montée de Tonnerre, Moireins), located on either side of the Serein river. They are harvested and vinified separately, then blended together. The result is a harmonious wine to which each Premier Cru brings its own identity. History & tradition: in the 1960s, when the vineyards of Chablis were being abandoned, Robert Drouhin believed in the potential of this soil, ravaged a century earlier by phylloxera. He was one of the first Burgundy winegrowers to make the most of the soil, producing wines that are typical of their terroir.
