A rich history


Maison Bouchard Aîné & Fils is one of the few wineries that can boast over two centuries of existence. Joseph Bouchard founded the Burgundy brand in 1750, but it was his father, Michel, who settled in the region in 1731. A former draper, he started out as a wine merchant and developed a unique expertise. His constant quest for authenticity and quality symbolizes the spirit of the company.

A unique vineyard


Burgundy's vineyards are made up of a multitude of parcels, grouped into six major appellations: Beaujolais, Mâconnais, Côte Chalonnaise, Côte de Beaune, Côte de Nuits and Chablis. These wines, with their different characters, share the same refinement. Unlike those of other wine-growing regions, they are single-varietal. The Bouchard family favors the famous Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with their exceptional olfactory and gustatory characteristics.
