The winemaker
Vignobles Chatonnet was founded in 1967 thanks to the passionate work of Jeanine and André Chatonnet. Today, the vineyard covers 30 hectares of the prestigious Lalande de Pomerol, Saint-Emilion and Montagne-Saint-Emiion appellations. Three grape varieties typical of the Bordeaux right bank are grown here: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. This winegrowing adventure is above all a family affair, and Jeanine and André Chatonnet have been joined by their son Pascal, a trained oenologist, to continue the development of the family estates.
