Vignobles Bardet
(48 customer reviews)
It was in 1704 that the Seigneriau family, ancestors of the Bardet family, began cultivating a vineyard at Vignonnet, in parallel with the family head's activity as a gabarier. Today, the Bardet vineyards produce Saint-Émilion and Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux wines. Find out more

Characteristics of the Bardet terroir and vineyards
The Bardet vineyards occupy an area of 60 ha on a Saint-Émilion terroir. The terroir is distinguished by its sandy, clayey-limestone, limestone and gravelly soils, as well as by its temperate oceanic microclimate, which favors vine-growing. Annual temperature variation is low, while rainfall is well distributed throughout the seasons. To improve the production of their fine wines, the Bardet vineyards have invested in machines that enable them to recover the small, sweeter berries.
The estate's wines
Les vignobles Bardet produce red wine in the Saint-Émillion Grand Cru appellation on the Château du Val d'Or estate with the following grape varieties: merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. Château Pontet-Fumet wines are made with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, while Château Franc Le Maine wines are made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The latter's cellars also produce sulphur-free wines, prepared with a view to bio-regulation. Finally, the Château Lideyre vineyard produces red wine with the AOC Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux label, using Merlot Noir and Cabernet Franc.
