Synonymous with rarity, Arche Lafaurie 2016 is an exceptional micro-cuvée from the finest terroirs of Château d'Arche, historically located in front of the château, overlooking the world-famous Sauternes village. Historically known as "crème de tête", this great Sauternes wine is produced from the first sorting of the harvest (called "trie de tête"), where only the grapes most affected by noble r... ot are meticulously selected. The result is a complex wine of extreme richness, produced in very small quantities only when the vintage permits. Only 5 vintages of this cuvée have been produced in the last 25 years. This cuvée, produced in 50cl bottles, pays tribute to Pierre Lafaurie, then owner of Château d'Arche, who contributed to its classification in 1855. Read more
