    Assembly : 82% cabernet sauvignon - 10% merlot - 8% cabernet franc. vinification : manual harvest. Traditional cultivation. Traditional Médoc vinification in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Wines are aged in oak barrels for 16 to 20 months. TASTING : A beautiful, deep ruby color. A racy, complex nose with hints of blackcurrant and cedar wood. Powerful, tight and rich on the palate, with a slightly strict side in the style of the great Pauillac wines. It's accessible in its youth, but it's usually after twenty years or so that it expresses its full potential.

    Dense, dark garnet-red color, tending toward violet in its youth.

    Aroma

    The nose is composed of violets and empyreumatic aromas such as wood, torrefaction, vanilla... As the wine ages, it will reveal high-quality game and truffle aromas.

    The appellation Saint-Julien is part of the region of Bordeaux from France which include Château Léoville Las Cases and its 88 cuvées. Spread over 80% red wines, but also 11% white wines, 9% rosé, this region is 6 million hectolitres per yer (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet and fortified), clairet and crémant rosés).
