Resulting from the division of Château Léoville in 1840, this fine Saint-Julien 2nd Cru Classé has belonged to the Cuvelier family since 1920. It has been represented by Didier Cuvelier since 1979, who has shown great legitimate ambition for his cru: plots have been replanted to extend the vineyard's exploited surface area - from 48 hectares to 80 today. The nose is composed of violets and empyreumatic aromas such as wood, torrefaction, vanilla... As the wine ages, it will reveal high-quality game and truffle aromas.
