The vineyard is located in the heart of the St Julien terroir. On one of the most beautiful gravelly hilltops in the Garonne region, facing the Gironde, the clay-gravel subsoil perfectly regulates the vagaries of the year's climate. An extraordinary wine. The class of great Bordeaux, the price is certainly a deterrent today but as I bought it almost 20 years ago, I have no regrets.
