In a few words ...

This cru is one of the must-have wines of its appellation, thanks to its resolutely consumer-oriented style. Owned by the Duboscq family since the 1950s, it is managed by Henri Duboscq, an ambitious and passionate man, with the help of his sons. J. Suckling.

Tasting notes

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

Aroma

The bouquet reveals notes of cassis, violet, mocha, vanilla, spices and licorice.

Taste

The wines of Saint-Estèphe have strong tannins and thus reach their maturity more slowly than most other medals. They offer black fruits, a note of freshness, often a woody or smoky aspect and a floral touch.
