In a few words ...

Château Cos Labory, located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, owes its name to the word "caux", meaning "stony hill", in reference to its location on the aptly named Cos gravel hill. The 18-hectare vineyard is planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The Audy family has invested heavily in recent years to bring Château Cos Labory to the pinnacle of modernity, combining the elegance, power and structure typical of a great Saint-Estèphe. J. Suckling : 90-91/100

The bouquet reveals notes of cassis, violet, mocha, vanilla, spices and licorice.

Taste

The wines of Saint-Estèphe have strong tannins and thus reach their maturity more slowly than most other medals. They offer black fruits, a note of freshness, often a woody or smoky aspect and a floral touch.
