The 2010 Château Trapaud has an incredibly dark garnet core with garnet and orange reflections on the rim.

Ripe fruit aromas of red and black currants, black cherry, slightly dried black plums, damp violets, cocoa nibs, fresh vanilla beans, cedar, damp tobacco, damp clay and exotic cake spices, which denote oak.
