Acquired in 2008 by Philippe Bardet, Château Franc Le Maine, an 11.5-hectare vineyard, is located in the south-east of the commune of Saint-Laurent des Combes. Created in the 15th century, this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation vineyard, nicknamed "La belle endormie" ("The Sleeping Beauty"), has benefited from extensive drainage and ecosystem stimulation. Dark ruby to purple in color, Château Franc le Maine reveals a fresh, dynamic and expressive nose. Elegant and persistent on the palate, it is appreciated for its density, balance and length.
