Château du Paradis, an 8-hectare Garden of Eden, lies on a magnificent gravelly hilltop. This mixture of gravel, clay and sand carried by the Dordogne River accumulates and reflects heat during grape ripening, enhancing the concentration, complexity and aromatic finesse of the wines. The wine is made directly in barrels, so the marriage of wood and wine during alcoholic fermentation is more intim... ate and harmonious.
