Le nez est plein et d'une grande fraîcheur. Arômes de petits fruits rouges bien mûrs, notes mentholées. On retrouve aussi des notes de sous-bois et de cuir.

La bouche est typée et bien équilibrée. Elle présente un beau croquant, du fruit et une acidité très agréable et typique du terroir. La finale se fait sur de très beaux tanins.
