Château Berliquet is one of Saint-Emilion's oldest crus (one of the appellation's five grands crus since 1829). Today in the hands of Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane de Derenoncourt, the estate, located on the limestone plateaus of the appellation, offers gourmet, fruity and elegant wines. This cuvée, with its warm, expressive aromas, is a perfect match for grilled red meat.
Appearance
Ruby hue, with purplish highlights in youth.
Aroma
The red fruit notes are highly concentrated, behind which develop a wide range of aromas, including vanilla and leather from barrel ageing...

The appellation's three main grape varieties blend and complement each other to magnify the whole. Merlot brings fruitiness, while Cabernet Sauvignon gives tannins and Cabernet Franc spicy notes.
