In a few words ...
Assembly : 70% merlot - 30% cabernet franc. vinification : Hand-picked in small crates, with sorting in the vineyard and cellar. Vinification by parcel lot in small, temperature-controlled 60 hl vats. Manual punching down. Malolactic fermentation in 100% new barrels. The wines are aged for 16 to 18 years. TASTING : A beautiful ruby color. A nose of candied red fruit. Supple, round and long on the palate. A courteous wine in the Bordeaux tradition.

Appearance
Pomerols are usually dark ruby in color, with violet highlights when young, and brick hues as they age.
Aroma
The bouquet is often rich and complex, with notes of black and red fruits. Empyreumatic notes are also present, with leather, roasting and a hint of vanilla.
