The wines are aged for 12 months in approximately one-third new oak barrels. TASTING : A beautiful garnet-red color. A fruity nose with raspberry aromas. Supple and round on the palate, with fruity notes and powerful, racy tannins. A powerful, generous wine.
Appearance
Pomerols are usually dark ruby in color, with violet highlights when young, and brick hues as they age.
Aroma
The bouquet is often rich and complex, with notes of black and red fruits. Empyreumatic notes are also present, with leather, roasting and a hint of vanilla.
