In a few words ...

This Pessac-Léognan lies at the gateway to Bordeaux, benefiting from a mild climate. Château Brown covers 59 hectares, 29 of which are planted with vines in a single block: 24.5 hectares for the reds and 4.5 hectares for the whites. For the reds, the vineyard is mainly made up of Cabernet Sauvignon (55%) and Merlot (40%), with a further 5% of Petit Verdot. The parcels dedicated to white wine are 70% Sauvignon and 30% Semillon.

Appearance

This wine has a deep color.

Aroma

Intense bouquet with fine spice notes mingling with fresh fruit (blueberries, morello cherries). After aeration, roasted nuances complete the bouquet.

Taste

The straightforward, delicate attack heralds a delicious wine in which long, classic tannins gradually unfold. The mid-palate is delicious.

A wonderful discovery, the barrel ageing makes itself felt and softens the tannins.
