    Second wine of Château Lynch-Bages, it benefits from a similar treatment, which varies only in the ageing (in one-wine barrels, not in stainless-steel vats). Worthy of the Pauillac fifth-growth classification, it boasts a rich ruby-red color with age. On the nose, it develops slightly woody, ripe fruit aromas. Its full complexity is revealed on the palate, with a lovely roundness that continues through to the long, surprising finish.

    The appellation Pauillac is part of the region of Bordeaux from France which include Château Lynch-Bages and its 51 cuvées. Spread over 80% red wines, but also 11% white wines, 9% rosé, this region is 6 million hectolitres per yer (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet and fortified), clairet and crémant rosés).
