Château Coucy is supple, fruity and pleasant on the palate. It's a table wine that goes well with simple dishes and even desserts. We recommend it with red meat (lamb) or white meat (chicken). Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats (at an average temperature of 28°C). Malolactic fermentation in vats, where 1/3 of the production is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months to give the wine more roundness and structure. The remainder is aged in concrete vats.
Appearance
Generally the robe of the wines of Libournais is deep ruby with purple reflections.
Aroma
The red and black fruits are very present with notes of wood and vanilla due to aging more or less long in barrels.
