In a few words ...

A fine discovery in the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation, Château Clos de Boüard covers 30 hectares in the commune of Parsac, renowned for the quality of its clay-limestone terroir. Merlot is king, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is currently being restructured to give the wines ever greater silkiness, delicacy and elegance, in the same way as the other great wines of the Boüard de Laforest family, including the legendary Château Angélus in Saint-Emilion. Coralie de Boüard de Laforest manages the estate. James Suckling ( 94 )
