In a few words ...
On the Garonne, the wind still sings in the sails of merchant ships entering through the great gates of the estuary to call at the trading post of Bordeaux. At the gateway to this sleeping beauty, a military complex with four bastions - the Fort Médoc - protected this trading center and natural communication route from the enemy. Today, from the top of its ramparts, overlooking the Médoc vineyards, a benevolent eye watches over this pine-scented land and reigns over these characterful vines.
