Although Château Margaux has been renowned since the 17th century, it is above all since its purchase in 1978 by the Mentzelopoulos family, then with the remarkable work of former director Paul Pontallier, that the cru has truly established itself as the best in its appellation. J. Suckling: 98-99/100
Appearance
Generous color.
Aroma
This 2008 vintage is a very fine Château Margaux, with a nose of great finesse and purity, as deep and charming as 2004.

Taste
What's surprising is its power on the palate: we didn't expect it to be so dense, so long, so rich. What beautiful tannins! They give Château Margaux 2008 a very tight texture, great length and, in the end, a more classic character than we expected.
