Margaux wines are among the most pleasant and aromatic. The whole world envies their sweet fruity, spicy and smoky aromas, the distinction of their tannins and the right balance between alcohol and acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon, the emblematic Médoc grape variety, covers 60% of the appellation, providing structure, bouquet and ageing potential. The wines have a dense, dark garnet color. After ageing... , the tannic structure is fine, supple and elegant, with magnificent length on the palate.

Appearance
The color is ruby red with purplish highlights, deep and brilliant.
Aroma
In the Margaux appellation, black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, sometimes cooked, are combined with an empyreumatic quality that gives off hints of roasted coffee and licorice.

Taste
On the palate, the best Margaux wines are those that have perfectly integrated their tannins into their structure, giving them roundness. The nose's aromas of black fruit and tertiary flavors such as leather and vanilla are also present.
