Renowned for its roundness and suppleness, Merlot lends its silkiness to the final blend. Cabernet Franc is distinguished by its rich bouquet of spicy notes. Finally, the late-ripening Petit Verdot completes the aromatic palette. The result is the Grand Vin de Château du Tertre, reflecting the soul of its exceptional terroir.

"With its 2012, the domaine has produced a harmonious Margaux, expressing finesse rather than power. On the nose, it combines discreet, fine toasty, spicy and fruity notes (cherry, blackcurrant). On the palate, it seduces with its suave, charming character, its supple, silky structure and its long finish, which may be a little more austere but is still very courteous."
Appearance
The color is ruby red with purplish highlights, deep and brilliant.
Aroma
In the Margaux appellation, black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, sometimes cooked, are combined with an empyreumatic quality that gives off hints of roasted coffee and licorice.

Taste
On the palate, the best Margaux wines are those that have perfectly integrated their tannins into their structure, giving them roundness. The nose's aromas of black fruit and tertiary flavors such as leather and vanilla are also present.
