Margaux wines are among the most pleasant and aromatic. The whole world envies their sweet fruity, spicy and smoky aromas, the distinction of their tannins and the right balance between alcohol and acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon, the emblematic Médoc grape variety, covers 60% of the appellation, providing structure, bouquet and ageing potential. The wines have a dense, dark garnet color. After ageing, the tannic structure is fine, supple and elegant, with magnificent length on the palate.
The 1990 vintage was marked by great sunshine, large volumes and therefore a great year. The red wines have a very fine tannic structure and a good sugar/acidity balance.
