    In a few words ...

This 3rd Cru Classé de Margaux is known not only for its wine, but also for its superb English Renaissance-style building, built in the mid-19th century by the vineyard's owner John Lewis Brown, a French painter of Scottish origin. Since 2006, Cantenac Brown has been owned by English wine enthusiast Simon Halabi, under the direction of José Sanfins and with the expert advice of oenologist Eric Boissenot. Together, they have brought the cru to its highest level, with environmentally-friendly viticulture, reduced yields, double sorting of the harvest... J. Suckling : 93-94/100

I was completely seduced by this red wine, as were my guests, two evenings ago. Served with a cheese platter, it was perfect. I recommend it!

It's a very good wine, but the negative point for me is the price, which is a bit steep.
