This wine is mainly made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, which provide a rich aromatic bouquet. On tasting, it boasts an intense ruby-red color and aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, as well as subtle notes of chocolate and roasted coffee, typical of barrel aging. The palate is velvety and round, with supple tannins and a long, persistent finish. A perfect match for red meats, beef stews and mature cheeses. Details: appellation: lalande de pomerol aoc grape varieties: 70% merlot, 30% cabernet franc terroir: clay-gravel soils, typical of the lalande de pomerol appellation, favoring good grape ripening.
