Produced at the Château Lagrange estate, Le Haut Médoc de Lagrange is considered the Third Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Julien. It's a gourmet wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with an intense color. On the nose, sweet spices and black fruits produce aromatic complexity. On the palate, Le Haut Médoc de Lagrange brings balance and roundness. The attack is fresh with supple tannins. Typical of red wines from the Haut Médoc appellation, this wine goes well with charcuterie, red meats and cheese. The Château's second wine is a blend dominated by Merlot combined with two Cabernets. A friendly, hearty wine, fresh and delicious, very fruity (blackcurrant, Morello cherry) and woody.
