Vignobles HaverlanEstimated delivery between 24 and Dec 27,
Here, in the Graves region, Dominique Haverlan has rebuilt an entire estate and replanted over 25 hectares of vines with his own hands. The story is a beautiful one, even if the project was Pharaonic. In summer, the thin, dry soils of the gravelly terroir force the vines to give their all. The result, vintage after vintage, is magnificent.
Once again, Dominique Haverlan proves that the Portets terroir's reputation for red wines is well-founded. Half Merlot, half Cabernet Sauvignon, this 2018 is immediately impressive with its intense, complex aromas of red fruit, tobacco, cedar and camphor. A fresh attack opens onto a powerful, full-bodied, rich and long palate, which has perfectly integrated the contribution of wood. Harmony on every level.
