An excellent wine. Decant before drinking, and it's all the better for it. As the saying goes, "Il faut savoir raison garder", but when the wine is good, the temptation to take another balloon quickly overcomes you. The quality of this wine being, no headache the next day. In short, from time to time - and I do mean from time to time - you have to lose your wits a little and let yourself be carried away by the emotion of a fine discovery. Well done to the producer!

Everyone thought it was very good. I didn't dare decant it for fear it would go off, or worse, oxidize, given its great age. I'll give it a try next time... It's very powerful and releases a multitude of fragrances. A strong smell of candied fruit remains for a long time after the glass is empty. That's often the telltale sign of a good wine.

A vintage that has kept its power, with silky tannins, a perfect reflection of the Graves terroir!

It's always interesting to taste a wine that time has weathered. Thanks to Twil and the winemaker for this opportunity. I couldn't resist opening a bottle on the spot to enjoy with my family. Clearly a wine built more on elegance and finesse than on power and opulence, where the aromas of a mature wine can be found. I think it has indeed passed its peak (although you'd have to drink it at regular intervals to be sure), but it's still very pleasant. A must for all those who want to try older wines without breaking the bank!

Very surprising for a 2008 which is not a great year. Silky and with a gentle length that's still assertive, this wine is typical of Graves, and a delightful old wine. For my taste, it doesn't surpass the 2010, but the latter is more powerful. This 2008 is much lighter and will appeal to those who don't want too much acidity and/or powerful tannins.
