Situated 20 kms from Bordeaux and overlooking the Garonne river, Château Martin's vineyards are planted on a clay-limestone plateau, benefiting from the "grave". The planting of this soil produces a fruity, structured wine, with a bouquet and rich tannins. The wines are matured according to the rigorous criteria of sarl domaines de la mette: selection of grapes, classic fermentation, ageing in Allier oak barrels for 9 to 12 months in perfectly equipped cellars. Today, Château martin enjoys an international reputation where its typicality, lively aromas and straightforward taste are a real success. Deliberately limited to 78,000 bottles a year, production is a pleasure for the connoisseur's palate. Suppleness, fruit, floral aromas and mouthfeel have been justly rewarded over the years. Harvest selection, classic fermentation (stainless steel vats), aging in Allier oak barrels for 9 to 12 months for the red wine, in perfectly equipped cellars. Clay-limestone.
