The winemaker

Backed by a tradition inherited from seven generations of winegrowers, Château Clos de Milo and The Cure, now owned Alexia and Pierre Bouyer, are a remarkable family estate of 13 hectares. To this is added the 2008 acquisition of 4.50 hectares located on beautiful gravel soils bringing operations to 18 hectares. In 2010, a plot of 56 acres of Pomerol complements the grape varieties form the field. Located on a soil of the Pomerol appellation, we witness the birth of Clos 56. Treated with all the respect traditionally reserved for great wines, the estate argued a wine high quality local: ecological approach to the vineyard, very measured yield, vinification in terms of the vineyards, farming mastered in barrels ... The overall production and gives taste wines of high typicality, marked by beautiful roundness of Merlot grapes ripe and intense red fruit aromas highlighted by a still delicate tannins.
