The winemaker
The Dubourdieu family comes from a long line of winegrowers in the Bordeaux region. Denis Dubourdieu continues this tradition with his wife Florence and 2 sons. They are at the head of several estates Chateau Doisy Daene, Clos Floridene, Chateau Reynon, Chateau Cantegril, and Chateau Haura. Their vineyards cover more than 135 hectares in Sauternes, Graves and Cadillac-Côtes de Bordeaux. Denis Bourdieu is one of those men who have left their mark on the history of Bordeaux winegrowing. A specialist in the vinification and ageing of white wines, he was also a renowned professor at Bordeaux University. He died in 2016, leaving his sons an entire Bordeaux heritage.
