The winemaker

Le Clos Grange Vieille is a family story, handed down from generation to generation. The 3 hectare vineyard, located near the Gironde Estuary in the heart of the Médoc appellation, has always been managed with respect for nature and biodiversity. For more than 50 years, the estate's land has not been subject to any weedkillers or chemical inputs. Since 2008, the estate has also applied the principles of biodynamics. In this logic, at the Clos de Grange Vieille, the horse has replaced the tractor and old tools such as the winch have made a comeback. Today, Brice-Alban Monfoulet has taken over the reins of the estate to continue the work and share the family passion.
